As you can probably tell, Ali and I have known each other for quite some time... I know all the best hiding spots in her parents home (like on top of the walk in pantry or in the corner of the lazy susan when it's swung open), that her hall is definitely wide enough to accommodate mattresses off the beds for gymnastics events, that we are really good at planning horrible initiation ceremonies for bunk room admittance, that her skills at teaching one to do handstands or forward rolls into a pool may end badly... I could go on... and on... ;-)

She is full of energy, enthusiasm and a true creative... life would be so dull without having her as a 'kindred spirit', and of course her amazing story telling skills, which could make the most mundane occurrence into an adventure of epic proportions!!!

our roots will always be tangled. I'm glad for that." Ally Condie
School play - I'm the worm and Ali's the spider. Not sure who got the better deal...
