Blair & Emily

Blair and Emily had meet once before at University in Otago, but they didn't really know each other. That was until they both got jobs working at Fonterra in South Canterbury and as many people who work there do, they started car pooling together. What Blair remembers the most about his first few encounters with Emily was her aggressive cornering when driving! Their first date consisted of watching the cricket together - one of the best games ever apparently, although I don't know if Emily would have agreed, and I'm not too sure if Emily would have actually called it a date either, but it was the beginning of many more 'proper' dates to come. After monsoon rain on the Friday, Saturday was clear, sunny and hot. While the girls got ready the boys played some golf which was always going to be entertaining when someone is playing left handed with right handed clubs! Right from the beginning of the day you could tell that this wedding wasn't just about the two of them. It was about everyone else as well. These guys really love their friends and family and it was easy to see that it was mutual. Some people had traveled great distances to be there and the heartfelt speeches that were given during the evening just showed over and over again how much these guys are well loved.
